We started in 1980 when a registered nurse and pomology professor fell in love with the admiration for fruit trees. Kalayada and James created K & J Orchards to bring premium quality fruits and nuts into their community. After many years of production planning, succession planning, and varietal selections the orchards grew into two Northern Californian towns; Winters and Yuba City. To this day, the farming practices have been passed on to their next generation for continued growth and nurture.
